In this course, participants are exposed to a range of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) strategies with an emphasis on their practical utilization and clear understanding. The goal of this course is to help anyone establish a foundation in LSS techniques so they can understand the concepts. This foundation is an important asset for people involved with a process improvement effort that may not be familiar with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
The course is designed to teach LSS from a “single voice” perspective and teaches individuals within an organization to work collectively to implement LSS techniques and improve business functions across their organization.

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification
Instructor
Frank Vega is the founder of The Efficiency Group, with almost 30 years of experience working with government agencies and private enterprises. He completed his graduate studies at The American University in Washington DC and received his Lean Practitioner certification from Villanova University. Frank is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Throughout his career, Frank honed the process of systems re-engineering and business function improvement utilizing Lean Six Sigma techniques. This effort resulted in the development of the proprietary HELIX-S methodology.
He has extensive expertise working with federal agencies including the Department of State, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Institutes of Health. Frank frequently briefs senior leadership on Lean Six Sigma deployment and often speaks at conferences on a wide variety of issues related to business process improvement.
