In this course, participants are exposed to a range of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) strategies with an emphasis on their practical utilization and clear understanding.  The goal of this course is to help anyone establish a foundation in LSS techniques so they can understand the concepts. Lean Six Sigma for Managers is a course designed specifically for managers and directors of teams being trained in Business Process Improvement. It presents an abridged version of the concepts and tools in the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification course along with key ideas geared specifically at managing teams looking to enhance their productivity.

In many cases managers will have their staff complete the training course while not taking the course themselves. While we encourage all staff to be trained, we understand managers have different responsibilities and time constraints.

    This sample lesson will provide you a sense for how materials are presented within the online course. There is one main module in the sample called: Understanding the Present and Predicting the Future.

    This class module, Understanding the Present and Predicting the Future, presents the factors that define the present state of your business processes and builds a model that defines the existing methods for how your business processes operate. Next, you will define improvement opportunities that will make the process better and more efficient. Then you will learn to evaluate these improvements to identify which will be part of the new process. Finally, you will build your new process model that defines the future process. These items will be covered along with the methods for getting this new process approved by management and moved to development and implementation.
